CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association or CIAA is the oldest African-American athletic conference.
This is the 10th year the CIAA tournament has been held in Charlotte.
In 2014, the association contributed nearly $50 million in economic impact.
The following CIAA events will be held Saturday, Feb. 28:
- McDonald's Super Saturday at Time Warner Cable Arena: 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
- CIAA Fan Fest at the Charlotte Convention Center, featuring Jeremih: Noon - 8 p.m.
- Women's Championship Game: 4 p.m.
- CIAA Stepshow "Step Off" School vs. School at the Charlotte Convention Center: 6:30 p.m.
- Men's Championship Game: 7 p.m.
