CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte leaders are thanking former mayor and Rep. Sue Myrick for her nearly two decades of public service on Saturday.
The ninth district Republican Party is hosting the event.
It will feature speeches from state and local leaders, including Gov. Pat McCrory.
Anyone can buy tickets online or at the door.
The event will be at SMS Catering on Norland Avenue starting at 5 p.m.
