CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Charlotte teenager is getting his own show on the Disney Channel.
Ramon Reed, 13, kicks off his new show “Just Roll With It” next month. He describes the show as part-improv and part family sitcom.
It’s like a “Build Your Own Adventure” book come to life, where audiences get to choose what they want to see happen.
Reed, who played Simba in the national Broadway tour of the Lion King last fall, says improv was something new to him.
“There’s three horns that ... go off during the show, so we have to leave the sound stage and that live audience votes and whatever happens, we just roll with it,” he said.
The first episode is slated to air June 14.
