CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. — Deputies said a sex offender hopped a bus to Texas after raping a 69-year-old woman in Chester County.
They said family members convinced Carl Seager to come back. He was arrested Tuesday.
Deputies said he was staying with the woman in Fort Lawn last month when he covered her face and raped her.
Seager was convicted of sexual assault in Texas in 1996.
