A mother from Chester, South Carolina, Brandy Gardner, was killed around 8:20 p.m. Wednesday night on Calvary Church Road.
Gardner, 39, was driving home from work when officials say she overcorrected, and crashed.
She was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident and was ejected from the vehicle.
The victim's 8-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son were in the car.
One child was airlifted to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The other was uninjured.
