Clinic Drug in Glen Alpine to close after 87 years

BURKE COUNTY, N.C. — A longtime pharmacy in Burke County is closing its doors.

The owner of Clinic Drug in Glen Alpine posted on its Facebook page that it’s closed after 87 years in business.

The owner said that he and his family have exhausted all resources.

Clinic Drug’s last day will be Tuesday, Jan. 6, and they plan to transfer all records to the CVS in Morganton.
