CHARLOTTE — A man was arrested Thursday in Rock Hill for fatally shooting a man in northeast Charlotte, police said.
Officers responded to the crime scene on West Sugar Creek Road at around 10:30 p.m. on July 18.
When they got there, officers found 34-year-old Joshua Bullock, who had been shot. He was rushed to the hospital but did not survive.
Police said 35-year-old James Yates is facing charges for murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Authorities have not said what may have led to the shooting.
