CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating a homicide in south Charlotte Friday evening.
Police said they responded to an assist MEDIC call at a motel on Wallingford Street just after 5:30 p.m.
At the scene, a person was found with a gunshot wound. That person would later die from their injuries.
However, no additional details have been made available.
