CMPD search for man after BB&T robbed Friday

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department's Armed Robbery Unit and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force are requesting the public's help in identifying the man involved in the robbery of the BB&T Bank, 1814 Oakdale Road. 
 
Around 1:30 p.m. Friday, a man entered the BB&T Bank and approached a bank employee and handed the employee a note demanding money, according to police. He then fled the scene once he received money.

He is described as a black man, approximately 35-40 years of age, 5 feet 10 inches in height, with a medium skin tone and a thin build.  He was last seen wearing an Atlanta Falcons black and red ball cap, a red jacket and red pants.
