CHARLOTTE — Classmates, friends and family are grieving the loss of a senior from Myers Park High School.
Barron Alexander Harris Jr. passed away over the weekend.
Channel 9′s Erika Jackson attended the celebration of life that was held for him Wednesday.
Students held one another as their eyes filled with tears. Coaches and group leaders pushed through tough moments to share their favorite memories of Harris.

Loved ones said they’ll remember Harris as fun-loving, athletic, and passionate.
“He will be remembered for his playful attitude, his infectious personality and loyalty,” Myers Park Principal Robert Folk said.
