Concord police arrest man on child abuse charges

A man was arrested for child abuse after police said a baby had three broken ribs.

Police in Concord charged Luis Samano with felony child abuse.

In July, a doctor reported the 4-month-old's injuries and said they're consistent with shaken baby syndrome.

Investigators have been working with the Department of Social Services since then, and arrested Samano last night.
