CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The owner of this popular South End brewery will expand his portfolio with a craft cocktail bar.
Elsewhere is slated to open in the Design Center of the Carolinas complex by mid-December, says Josh Patton, one of the founders of Wooden Robot Brewery.
He’s teamed up with Sean Rega on that venture. Elsewhere is not affiliated with Wooden Robot.

The craft cocktail bar will be tucked into a 750-square-foot space, with a small mezzanine, at the Design Center. That makes it neighbors with Barcelona Wine Bar, Superica and Pepperbox Donuts, near the complex’s water tower. A patio will add another 500 square feet.
