Crews respond to fatal fire at mobile home in Rowan County

ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — At least one person has died following a fire in Rowan County on Thursday night.

It occurred at approximately 9:15 p.m. at a mobile home on Jay Avenue just off Enochville School Road.

Channel 9 crews spoke with the officials at the scene. They revealed that 28-year-old Daniel Lee Bynum had been found dead inside the home.

No additional details have been made available, and the cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
