YORK COUNTY, S.C — The body of missing swimmer was recovered from Lake Wylie Tuesday, officials with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources said.
Searchers spent two days looking for a man after he was last seen on Sunday south of the Buster Boyd Bridge.
The man and a woman were on a watercraft when they got off to take a swim.

Their boat floated off and they tried to swim after it.
The woman got back on the boat but when she looked for the man, he was nowhere to be seen.
Officials later released the identity of the body as 41-year-old Christopher Dellinger, of Bessemer City.
The search was temporarily suspended the Monday night due to difficult weather and dark conditions, according to the York County Sheriff’s Office.
No further details have been released at this time.
