CHARLOTTE — Crime Stoppers has announced it has received a private donation of $6,000 to be awarded for information about a fatal shooting that occurred in west Charlotte.
On July 21, officials said they responded to an assault-with-a-deadly-weapon call on the Pressley Road near Rose Ridge Place.
At the scene officers said they found a man, later identified as Michael Camp, with a gunshot wound.
Camp was taken to the hospital where he later died, according to reports.
The investigation into this case is active and ongoing.
