2 men killed in Lancaster shooting identified

LANCASTER, S.C. — Lancaster County deputies are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred Wednesday night off a small rural road in Lancaster.

According to police, two men were shot. One of the men was killed; the other was critically injured and taken to a nearby hospital where he later died.

Deputies found Stephen Westbrook, 39, dead in the driveway of the home.

Deputies found Mardrickus Javon Belk, the second victim, lying on the floor in his living room. Police did not say where Belk had been shot.

The shooting occurred at 2314 Old Blackmon Lane, which is about a mile and a half east of the Lancaster Country Club.

Investigators found two different firearms on the scene. A "significant quantity" of illegal drugs was found inside the home, officials said.
