LINCOLNTON, N.C. — UPDATE: Riley Ray Higgins, of Lincoln County, returned home and is safe, authorities said Wednesday.
Deputies looking for Lincolnton man reported missing by fiancee
Detectives with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the disappearance of Riley Ray Higgins, 32, of North Street in Lincolnton.

According to investigators, Higgins was last seen by his fiancée around 7:30 a.m. April 15 as she was leaving for work.
Higgins left his cellphone at the house and did not report for work at his Lincolnton job, officials said.
Higgins is described 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs around 190 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes and may be driving his purple, 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS with North Carolina license plate FJR-2862.
