CHARLOTTE — A developer is withdrawing their request to build nearly 200 townhomes in University City, our partners at The Observer reported.
The proposed development, Ashemore Townhomes, would have been built on 19 acres off Mallard Creek Church Road.
The change comes after neighbors voiced concerns about traffic and density.
