CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A recovery program for women battling addictions is about to add more than 100 new beds.
The Dove’s Nest’s new facility on West Boulevard includes 30 beds for children, as well.
The new facility is part of an $11.2 million capital campaign which will also keep the facility running for three years.
“It changed my life tremendously. I got seven months clean now, and I'm working the honors program. And I'm able to give back,” said Vicki Hunter, who lived in Dove’s Nest.
Current Dove’s Nest residents will begin moving into the new facility next month.
