Community leaders promote higher education at Gray Classic

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Several Charlotte businesses and political leaders joined forces Saturday to help young students achieve higher education.
 
This was the seventh year for the Gray Classic that includes a golf tournament and a women's empowerment brunch at the Ballantyne Hotel.
 
Eyewitness News anchor Erica Bryant hosted the event and anchor Stephanie Maxwell served on a panel called Mind, Body and Media.
