Flooding in Avery Co. forces residents out of homes

AVERY COUNTY, N.C. — Flooding in Avery Co. forced people out of their homes overnight near the Land Harbor neighborhood and Resort in Linville.

Some families had to stay in the resort club house because the water was rising.

No one was hurt.
