FORECAST:
- Thursday was a gorgeous day, but conditions will change as a cold front arrives later Friday.
- Clouds are set to increase Friday afternoon in Charlotte.
- Expect high winds in the region through Saturday.
- There is a chance of showers and storms Friday night with wind gusts up to 34 mph.
- More rain and thunderstorms are in the forecast on Saturday.
- The skies clear up Saturday night.
- It will remain calm following activity from the cold front as it moves east.
- Highs on Saturday will be near 80, and on Sunday, near 68.
- A mix of sun and clouds are in store to start off the work week.
