Former North Carolina governor reflects on Bush's impact to Charlotte area

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The nation is mourning the loss of former President George H.W. Bush.

His body is lying in state in the Capitol Rotunda in Washington, D.C.

President Bush passed away this past weekend, and he will be laid to rest later this week in College Station, Texas at his library.

George H.W. Bush left his impact on Charlotte.

The late Rev. Billy Graham was known as the president's pastor and prayed with Bush many times, including when he was inaugurated.
