CHARLOTTE — Saturday friends and loved ones celebrated a former North Carolina governor’s birthday.
Jim Martin tuned 90 this week.
Martin was governor in the 1980s.
He’s responsible for finishing I-40 from Tennessee to Wilmington. Martin was a congressman before that.
Former Governor Pat McCrory and Former Congressman Robin Hayes were at the party Saturday in east Charlotte.
Happy birthday to him.
