Gaston Co. officials search for missing 14-year-old girl

Cramerton police are investigating the disappearance of 14-year-old Haley Porter.

Haley was last seen leaving Stuart Cramer High School in Cramerton around 3 p.m. Monday.

Haley's mother, Roxanne Hunsucker, notified police after Haley did not return home Monday evening.

Haley is believed to have left the campus of Stuart Cramer High School and met former boyfriend Francisco Jaramillo Vazquez, 18, police said. The two are believed to be traveling to Arizona.

The couple are thought to be traveling in a red, four-door 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier with North Carolina license plate DAE-1845.

Cramerton police, after consultation with the Gaston County district attorney, have obtained warrants on Vazquez for kidnapping.

Cramerton Police Chief Greg Ratchford said that although Haley may have met and left with Vazquez consensually, the fact that she is underage and did not have her parents' consent led to the charges being filed.

Haley and Vazquez have been entered as wanted persons thorough the National Crime Information Center.

Anyone with information on the couple's whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Cramerton Police Department at 704-824-7964, 704-866-3300, or administration@cramerton.org. Those with information can also contact the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-THE-LOST or 1-800-843-5678.
