GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — A couple was charged with faking a stabbing at a Gaston County park to conceal a domestic fight.
Jessica Lucille Flowers and Austin Braswell got into an argument while driving along Hickory Grove Road, investigators said.
A witness saw them stop at the North Belmont Park and get into a fight.
Flowers called 911 saying Braswell was robbed and stabbed, police said. She was arrested Friday.
Braswell will be charged when he gets out of the hospital.
