Girl burned in explosion returns home after surgery

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A girl badly burned when a gas can exploded, is home again in Charlotte after her latest surgery.

Doctors released Emily Hinton from a Winston-Salem hospital Wednesday weeks after operating to perform a graft and release neck scars.

Hinton was burned in September 2015.
