Grocery hacks that can reduce food waste and save you hundreds

CHARLOTTE — We all know grocery prices are shooting up. The Consumer Price Index shows we’re paying about 8% more now for food than we were a year ago.

The last thing anyone wants to do is waste when they buy.

One mom and nutritionist shared her shopping and organization hacks on Instagram, which she says have saved her hundreds.

“It’s $200 to $400 a month is what I save,” Alyssa Miller said.
