Highway 73 reopens in Concord after reported chase, crash, officials say

CONCORD, N.C. — A chase that ended in a crash Tuesday night shut down Highway 73 in Concord, emergency officials said.

Residents in the Rollingwood Forest neighborhood near Amazon CLT3 said they were told to stay inside.

Reporter Joe Bruno was at the scene near La Forest Lane where police had the road blocked off.

The North Carolina Department of Transportation reported the road reopened at 1 a.m. Wednesday.
