CHARLOTTE — A 33-year-old man was killed in a fight Tuesday night in west Charlotte, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
It happened around 11:30 p.m. on Booker Avenue.
Police identified the victim as David Alexander. He was found with an apparent stab wound and taken to the hospital where he died, they said.
Alexander’s family has created a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for his funeral expenses.
No arrests have been made. Anyone with information about the case is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
