Hornets aim to match franchise record in Pistons matchup

CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte Hornets will look to tie a franchise record Monday night when they host the Detroit Pistons.

The Hornets won their ninth game in a row Saturday night, beating the Atlanta Hawks on the road.

It’s their longest win streak since the 1999 season.

If the Hornets win Monday, that would make 10 in a row, tying the franchise record set in the 1997-98 season.
