ALEXANDER COUNTY, N.C. — Alexander County officials responded to a house fire north of Taylorsville off Clearview Lane.
Flames heavily damaged the home, resulting in the death of a woman who was in her mid-60s, according to local officials.
The local fire marshal, along with sheriff’s deputies, are investigating.
