CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Interstate 485 inner loop ramp to Mount Holly Road in northwest Charlotte was blocked for hours Saturday morning while authorities investigated a deadly crash.

The wreck happened around 8 a.m. on the ramp near Mount Holly Road.
Officials told Channel 9 one person was pronounced dead at the scene and another has been taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol and the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department are at the scene investigating.
The ramp reopened around 11 a.m.
No additional information has been released.
