U.S. Attorney Andrew Murray and the FBI on Friday announced the indictment of Eric Hill of Charlotte on charges of insider trading related to the Duke Energy Corp. acquisition of Piedmont Natural Gas in 2015.
The indictment alleges that between Oct. 13, 2015, and Oct. 26, 2015, Hill committed insider trading based on nonpublic information pertaining to the deal.
