ATLANTA — An inventor demonstrated how his jet suit works on May 1 in Atlanta, our affiliate WSB-TV reported.
It can fly 50 to 80 feet above water at speeds up to 60 mph with about five minutes of time in the air, said Richard Browning, founder and chief test pilot for Gravity Industries.
The suit weighs about 65 pounds with fuel and has jet engines on both arms.
Browing told WSB-TV the jet suit is easy to use.

"So, now the moment you take off, it actually is, it's kind of like leaning forward on a table at about, I don't know, 45 degrees. It really isn't very difficult at all," Browning told WSB-TV.
Browning hopes to see the jet suit in races, and Gravity is developing an electric version of the suit that could one day be used for transportation.
