CHARLOTTE — A judge rejected a claim that the Cabarrus County Clerk of Court is unfit to serve.
Bill Baggs has worked for the county for 50 years.
Baggs is in his 80s and lives in an assisted living facility.
He was accused of not being able to do his job.
His doctors told us he passed a cognitive assessment earlier this year.
Baggs will remain on the job
