• Kannapolis KFC employees robbed in parking lot

    KANNAPOLIS, N.C. - Two Kentucky Fried Chicken employees said two men with guns robbed them in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant at about 11 p.m. Sunday.
     
    They said the men walked up to them outside the KFC on North Cannon Boulevard in Kannapolis.
     
    They told police both men had bandanas over their faces but they have a good description.
     
    They said the men took about $1,600, a cellphone and car keys.
