LAKE LURE, N.C. — Lake Lure town officials said they will have a soft opening starting Monday.
The public will have limited access while officials keep checking on the lake and wrap up work.
Under this first phase, the entire lake will be a no-wake zone.
Helene devastated the town and left more than 1 million cubic yards of debris in the lake.
