CHARLOTTE — The nursing home, formerly known as The Citadel at Myers Park, is facing a new lawsuit, The Charlotte Observer reported.
Negligence led to a woman’s mental and physical decline, according to the lawsuit.
Resident Francine Sabino endured infections, sepsis, and inappropriate touching over several years there, according to the newspaper.
Attorneys for the nursing home denied the claims, citing a COVID-19-era immunity statute.
