CHARLOTTE — The Weddington Road Interchange on Interstate 485 has been named in honor of local businessman Edward “Ned” Curran.
Curran has been a leader in the transportation community for decades.
He formerly served as the board chairman for the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
Curran is now a member of the newly formed Transportation Authority.
