CHARLOTTE — A high-ranking executive at Lowe’s reportedly has left her post amid a reorganization of roles. The exit of Marisa Thalberg, chief marketing officer, was among several changes at the Mooresville-based retailer that took effect on Friday, according to CNBC.
Her position was eliminated, with the marketing team moved under Bill Boltz, executive vice president of merchandising, that report says.
The shakeup comes as Lowe’s, like many retailers, is seeing a slowdown in sales. CBJ’s Jennifer Thomas reported last month that its DYI sales were softer in the second quarter as consumers dialed back spending amid soaring inflation.
