CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A 16-year-old local teen and his family will be going to the Super Bowl to see his favorite team, the New England Patriots, thanks to the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
Austin Edwards, who has cystic fibrosis, attended Make-a-Wish Foundation’s The Wish Ball Friday night at the Westin Charlotte.

At the end of the event, Austin was surprised when the foundation revealed his wish to go to the Super Bowl came true.
