CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A man accused of stealing a car with a 2-year-old boy in the back seat will face a judge for the first time Monday.
Police said D'Jerry Cassamajor stole a woman’s car earlier this week after she stopped to get food on West Sugar Creek Road in north Charlotte.

Cassamajor crashed the car a few blocks away, and officers said he left woman’s son in the snow.
The little boy was not hurt.
Cassamajor faces several charges, including larceny of a motor vehicle, child abuse and kidnapping.
