Man admits to sucking woman's toes at Walmart, sentenced to 60 days in jail

GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — A man will spend about a month in jail after he admitted to sucking on a woman's toes at a Walmart in Lincolnton.

Michael Brown pleaded guilty to assault on a female Thursday morning in a Gaston County courtroom.

The victim watched the hearing from the back of the courtroom and had a blank stare when the judge gave Brown a 60 day sentence.

She then left the courthouse in tears.

In court, Brown told the judge, "I apologize to the victim. I am ready to take full responsibility for my actions."

Last month, Brown went into the Walmart in Lincolnton, told a woman he was a podiatry student, and asked to help her try on shoes.

She thought he was an employee.

Police said he sucked on the woman's toe.

Brown seemed pleased with what happened in court Thursday.

Brown has a criminal history of doing lewd things with women's feet that dates back to 2001.
