GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — Police are searching for the man they say is responsible for stealing a purse from the Lowell Goodwill store's dressing room earlier this month.
Police said a woman left her purse in the dressing room and when she went back to get it, it was missing.
A man was caught on store surveillance cameras leaving the same dressing room with something wrapped over his arm.
In the surveillance video the man can be seen wearing a white hat, gray dress shirt and carrying some bags with him.
Police said the man left the store without anything in his hands. However, he was wearing a long button-up dress shirt and appeared to be holding his left side.
