Man denied free ice cream, fired shots at ice cream truck

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Charlotte man was arrested Friday after he was accused of shooting at an ice cream truck in August.

Investigators said Ytiel Barriento pulled out a gun and threaten workers after they refused to give him free ice cream on Sharon Amity Road at Central Avenue

Police said Barriento shot at the truck as it tried to leave.

The truck was damaged but no one was injured.
