Neighbors call arborists after concerns over trees falling
Officials have deemed the house unsafe. A gas company was called to check for any leaks but none were found.
Channel 9 spoke with the president of the HOA, who said the tree was checked out a few years ago because they were concerned about it then.
The homeowner was on vacation when he received the call and told Channel 9 he actually had just moved out. He said an arborist told him teh tree was about 150 years old.
"The tree didn't fall toward the trees and hit anyone in the community, so you know there are a lot of things to be thankful for," said Matt King.
It's still unclear what caused the tree to fall.
