Meck County Sheriff's Office channels 'Grease' in lip-sync battle video

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office has joined the national trend.

The sheriff's office has released their own rendition of a lip-sync battle video featuring hit songs from the musical and film "Grease."

Other departments including Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police and Tega Cay PD have released their own challenge videos.

The trend stretches across the country as different police departments have released lip-sync battle videos to popular songs.

The Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office released this statement following the release of their video.

"Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office accepts the Lip Sync Challenge! We have stepped it up and bring you a selection of the greatest hits from Grease!
