CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Charlotte developer has filed plans for a mixed-use development near the former King’s College site in Elizabeth. The Keith Corp. is seeking to rezone 2.4 acres on East Fifth Street, between Lamar and Clement avenues.
Plans call for a new 120,000-square-foot office building, eight townhouses and a parking structure.
A site plan filed with the rezoning suggests medical office is being pursued for the land, which is across Fifth Street from Novant Health’s midtown medical campus
