CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The group Mothers of Murdered Offspring held a vigil to remember nearly 40 people murdered in Charlotte this year.
The candlelight service began at 7 p.m. Sunday at Marshall Park in uptown Charlotte.
The vigil remembered the four people killed over Memorial Day weekend, including Daveon Andrews, who was shot and killed on Oregon Street.
Police are still searching for his killer.
